Sound of Hope: Possum Trot
DETAILS
Come join us for the powerful true story, Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, that follows Donna and Reverend Martin as they ignite a fire in the hearts of their rural church to embrace kids in the foster system that nobody else would take. By doing the impossible–adopting 77 children–this East Texas community proved that, with real, determined love, the battle for America’s most vulnerable can be won. Harnett county has between 200/300 children in foster care. Whether you are currently a foster/adoptive parent, curious about what that entails, or would like to know other ways you can serve the children in our community, this event is for you. This film is rated PG-13 and is not recommended for children, but use your own discretion.
